Sick Wanda Sykes

The sleaze factor comes from seeing the President of the United States laugh about someone's kidneys failing them.  What kind of person thinks kidney failure is funny?  Laugh at locking a mass murderer in a room with a bug and you're radical. Laugh at the idea of someone you dislike suffering kidney failure and you are a purveyor of compassion, a role model, a real man.
This country is in worse shape than I thought if people don't see how sick this truly is.

How about the elderly?

I want Barry to not deny elderly people who worked hard their entire lives the right to the best medical care the insurance they paid for has to offer.  The elderly who earned coverage deserve a comfortable retirement and access to health care options.
No one mentions how this mess will impact the elderly; many of whom are scared they won't be able to see their oncologists, radiologists, or other specialists. They worry such specialists will leave under a universal health care system.  Can you blame them?
I hope it doesn't take millions of elderly deaths for people to understand universal health is a disaster waiting to happen.

Food for thought

Barry is shrewdly manipulative and dangerous.  His controversial appointees coincidentally have/had baggage from the Clinton era and are familiar and high profile names; Daschle, Geithner, and Holder.
He's too cautious and calculated to not have known his boys carried serious baggage.
It is not a stretch that he nominate crooks to deflect attention from his action/inaction? It will be interesting to see who his next picks are.   He won over some critics with "I screwed up."  Sensible people know it's crap because.
Barry knew the original "stimulus" was impassable when he "reached across" to republicans.  Republicans and reasonable democrats are  doing the work.  He knew he did not have experience for an economic package or anything else an elected official does.  But Barry has experience in manipulation.  We should all wonder what he is working on.
He's demonstrated his love of strategy when he dismissed valid questions that were potentially detrimental to his campaign about Reverend Wright, Ayers, Acorn involvement and his citzienship as Republican "smear tactics," and as a weak attempt to make him a bad guy.  His belief or reliance on strategy and manipulation says a lot about him; just look at his devoted "fan base."
Americans elects a president to protect the country and uphold American tradition.  Barry is incapable or realizing or appreciating the seriousness and duties of a Commander in Chief's duties because they are NOT his own.
That is scary.

Obama gives Kentucky the Cold Shoulder

We learned last week President Barry dislikes cold weather.  This explains why he attended a swank Washington Ball Saturday, spent last week deciding how to spend stimulus money, and pretended to court republicans to dissolve partisan politics.
His indifference to the disaster in Kentucky is the prototype of media bias.  It proves he's an opportunist and needs new advisers; STAT!
A lesson in compassion wouldn't hurt either.
Obama hasn't addressed frozen Kentucky; nothing. I know he needs a trillion dollars to help his buddies. Seriuosly, he needs new advisors because President O is gonna have some 'splainin' to do when Kentucky thaws.  His priority is making sure he's President of a popular country and figuring out just how to spend all that stimulus money once he gets his hopeful hands on it.
Imagine what would've happened had George Bush ignored Katrina to go on vacation.  Instead, he visited Mississippi's ravaged Gulf Coast the day after and vowed to do anything to help people effected by the unprecedented storm. Critics complain he only flew over New Orleans.
I was in Mississippi, not 80 miles from Biloxi (where Katrina made landfall).  It was dangerous to drive 70 miles to my parents (they had water-no electricity-but water was gold) because of road conditions (among other things).  I knew-understood, unlike most of Bush's critics it wasn't safe to send the President of the United States to an area flooded with toxic water law enforcement officials ran from.
Mendacity!
